Carol Jean (Bartram) Sturtevant, age 56 of Grove
City, passed away may 24, 1999 at her home. she was a graduate of
Otterbein College, class of 1966. She was a life-long resident of Grove
City and an English teacher at Grove City High School for the past 24
years. Member of Grove City United Methodist Church. Survived by her
husband of 5 years, Wayne; sons, William C. Bartram of Westerville and
James Bartram (fiancee, Jill Wiseman) of Westerville; son and
daughter-in-law, John and Susan Bartram of Westerville; step-daughters
and sons-in-law, Wanda and John Chadbourne of Leeds, Maine, Bohnny and
John Parker of Lawrence, Mass. and Lori and Dennis Richardson of Turner,
Maine; step-sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Coreen Sturtevant of
Worthington, and Craig and Shelley Sturtevant of Auburn, Maine; also
survived by her half-sister, Joyce Wine of Columbus; 12 grandchildren;
several other family members and numerous friends. Preceded in death by
her first husband William H. Bartram, father John Haag and mother
Florence Haag. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at the SCHOEDINGER
NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. Funeral service 8 p.m.
Thursday, May 27, 1999 at the Grove City United Methodist Church, 2684
Columbus St., with Rev. Ed Lewis officiating. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to the Carol Sturtevant Fund at any branch of Bank
One. the fund will be used as a scholarship to selected Grove City High
School students.
